My Picks for Sep 18 games

Central:

Rogues -vs- All Blacks: This will be an easy win for the Rogues...

All Blacks -vs- Sun Devils: wow... if i were an 'All Black' player, i would just stay in bed this morning.. back-to-back ball buster games.... nice job Mr. Scheduling man... a 2 for 2 loss for the All Blacks this morning as the Sun Devils will easily take the win overthe All Blacks as well..

Buckeyes -vs- Sun Devils: last year, I wanted the Buckeyes to take the 2010 A Division Title.. this year, I will be shocked to see them stay in the A come the time of the playoff swaps.. however, TJ is supposed to be back? and hopefully Rafuse is back.... actually - heres to hoping they have enough guys to field a team at all after a disappointing show in their last game against the All Blacks. While I think the Buckeyes will do a better job holding their own against the Sun Devils than the All Blacks will, I really don't see the Buckeyes to pull out a victory. Give me the Sun Devils for their 2nd win of the day.

Henry Street:

Bulldogs -vs- Longhorns: well.... the Bulldogs have an easy ride going into playoffs, playing the 3 lowest teams in the league. I completely see this being another scoreless game for the Longhorns, like they experienced against the Lancers. The only thing in the Longhorns' favour, however, is the Bulldogs dont have anyone vying for the points title, so the score shouldnt be as brutal a blow to the ego..... Summary: It will be an extremely effortless win for the Bulldogs....

Lancers -vs- Raiders: This is the game of the week right here... in order for Lancers to maintain 1st in B, they need to make a win here. I think the Raiders got lucky in their win against the equally-as-talented-as-the-Lancers Mustangs team, capitolizing on the Mustangs being without their QB. The Lancers, even though they have played majority of the year without their "official" QB, are doing amazing while making do with their 2nd string QB. As I see it - there are 2 scenarios here..... 1. They have Jay QB and win by a landslide, proving they are the better team and making up for last years B finals upset; 2. They have their stand-in QB and still win.... making up for last years B finals upset. Sorry Raiders.. I like a lot of you, but I do think ya just got lucky last year.... (oh that dreaded word "LUCKY").

Buccaneers -vs- Hounds: This is hard to say.... on the one hand, the Buccs are doing great in the C division.... on the other hand, the Hounds have found their groove.... Though I can totally see this going either way, I will say the Hounds will take this... in part due to wishful thinking so that the Hawks can be totally alone at the top of the C totem.

Donevan:

Mustangs -vs- OPC: Mustangs have another double header this week (the price you pay for missing out on the first couple weeks of the season). This wouldve been the ideal week to be missing their key player(s) as they go head-to-head with 2 of the lower teams in the C division. Mustangs will take this easy... and I see OPC handling it in 1 of 2 ways.... temper temper... or actually accepting it, and just admiring the athletic abilities of the Mustangs.. they have a lot of amazing players on their team which make them great to watch from both the side lines, or the field!

Mustangs -vs- Turtles: Poor turtles.... you will get trampled on. I wish i could say otherwise... but i know better... you guys screwed me twice.. and this is just a no brainer.. hugs?

Hawks -vs- Turtles: Hawks. xox

RE: My Picks for Sep 18 games

awww.. poor buttercup... thats gonna make 'pathetic' very angry... ohhh.. if only we knew who he was...

anyhow... i have received the inside scoop on my hot Stallions... i mean beloved mustangs.. ... OPC & Turtles should be seat dancing as they read that, much to the disadvantage of the Mustangs, a lot of their starting lineup will be away on Sunday [school being back in for the youngsters, and their QB having personal commitments]. This is the help from God that OPC & Turtles both needed to make this a little fairer a match up..

so with this knowledge, do i change my pick? hmmmm....

I saw some pretty awesome action from the 'veterans' that i believe will still have them beating OPC... now.. the only thing that may come into play is endurance... their 2nd end of the double header is against a very young, and overly-energetic Turtles squad....

will the Turtles be able to take advantage of the veteran Mustangs by simply running circles around them?

i still say no...

I am keeping the Mustangs to pull out a win in both their games..... the scores may just end up being closer than I initially anticipated....

we will see what JA takes away from this... im doing all the dirty work for you JA... i will send you an invoice at the end of the year...

Ummm hes not just some "second string" qb, does anybody not know that this is Pacas? lol. He has throwing tds left right and centre, hes no second string. Hope to have a good, competitve game against the raiders.

RE: My Picks for Sep 18 games

ohhhh.. my goodness... PACAS?!?!?!?! i had no idea... well then.. let me go in and make a correction to my picks...

The Lancers, even though they have played majority of the year without their "official" QB, are doing **RIDICULOUSLY, INCREDIBLY, SUPERLY** amazing while making **MORE THAN DO** with their **SUPER AMAZING SECRET MISSILE OF AN ARM, DEFINITELY NOT A BACKUP BY ANY MEANS, QB 'PACAS'**. As I see it - there are 2 scenarios here..... 1. They have Jay QB and win by a landslide, proving they are the better team and making up for last years B finals upset; 2. They have their **SUPER AMAZING SECRET MISSILE OF AN ARM, DEFINITELY NOT A BACKUP BY ANY MEANS, QB 'PACAS' DO THE TEAM THE HONOUR** and still win **BY A FORCE GREATER THAN A LANDSLIDE... MORE SIMILAR TO THE RESULT OF A TSUNAMI AND A LANDSLIDE HAVING A BABY WITH ALL THE POWERS OF BOTH NASTURAL DISASTERS**.... making up for last years B finals upset. Sorry Raiders.. I like a lot of you, but I do think ya just got lucky last year.... (oh that dreaded word "LUCKY").

god.... this just still doesnt do Pacas justice .... okay.. im just gonna say.... hes greater than Jesus... and unlike when said by John Lennon----- this is truth!

Hey Lancer47....
you down for throwin' down a friendly bet if our two teams end up facing each other again this year? We should have had the first one save for that phantom touchdown on special teams you guys squeaked by on!

RE: My Picks for Sep 18 games

Sitting sideline at mustangs v turtles game. Mustangs left the turtles in their dust. Clearly, "Slow and steady" only wins against rabbits.

Turles were left scoreless against the 4 (I think?) Scores of the mustangs.

Wooowee JA. Wooooo effing weeee

Hand over the prognostication belt. And don't expect to see it back! :)
