Hounds ball-hawking D might give Buzz and his crew some trouble. Ruff Riders vs Raiders + 7 Well, who will show up this week for the Riders? With Dave Bye, the spread would probably be a few points higher. But since there is no certainty that he will show I'll leave the line at 7. Buccaneers vs Bulldogs -3 Bulldogs seem to have muzzled themselves on the boards lately. It was entertaining while it lasted. I'll take the 'dogs as the favourite in this matchup. Hawks vs Westney FC +12 Hawks need consecutive victories for a shot at sitting atop the 'c' division. I don't see an upset this week, so the Hawks will be heavily favoured. Sun Devils vs Buckeyes +3 Who doesn't love a rivalry game!? Though losing TJ would hurt any offence, it looks like the Bucks' aren't having any problems putting up points. However, the Sun Devils are playing some good ball as of late, so this will be a close and entertaining game. Rogues vs All Blacks +9 4 of the 5 teams in A have a legitimate shot at finishing atop of A standings. Rogue should come away with 2 big wins this weekend. Rogues vs Lancers +13 Lancers got a rude wake up call last week vs the Bucks but settled down in their 2nd game against the All Blacks by losing by a close margin. Things won't get better until the last week of the season. Rogues should handle the vastly improved Lancers with ease. JA, you are late again!!! TJ, hope the knee is getting better. OUCH. so my season record against the spread is 10 - 5. Thank goodness i started the season 7 and 0. On to this weeks picks. Well I took the underdog Beezzz straight up so I'll have to take them to cover. Only 7 points in the Raiders/Ruff Riders game. Easy pick for the Ruff Riders. Give me WFC to cover but lose against the Hawks. I took the Devils straight up so with only a 3 point spread I'll have to go with them to cover as well. I think the Rogues will cover the 9 points but it's anything from a sure thing. Great spread Vinny. I'll take the Lancers to start getting things back together and cover but lose to the Rogues. Hopefully I can get back on track this week. JA |
