| Posted By: John Anthony Posted On: Jul 13th, 2012 Views: 1746 | Week 6 picks Not sure where KA is with our running totals but after the domination of last week I guess it's understandable that she might want to hide out for a while :). Just teasing Kelly. To summarize last week I went 8 for 9 while I believe Kelly went 6 for 9 and as I already had a 1 point lead before last week it would seem I'm comfortably in the driver's seat now. A good week this week should all but put the competition away. Only 7 games on tap this week. Maxwell Height Buckeyes v. Bull Dogs: Both these teams are looking very solid so far this year. I know the smart money is on the Bull Dogs but I just feel the Buckeyes are going to take a close one here. Give me the Buckeyes in the upset. All Blacks v. Bull Dogs: Bull Dogs are going to be pissed after losing to the Buckeyes and even if they don't lose to the Buckeyes they are still not going to lose the All Blacks. Give me the Bull Dogs to pull out a big victory. Lancers v. All Blacks: Ah the Lancers. Are they in this league??? Haven't seen them out in ages. Will their QB be there this week? So many question marks in this game. With the inconsistency of the Lancers I really should take the All Blacks here but for some reason I feel like the Lancers are going to come out with something to prove to the rest of the league so I'm giving them one more chance before I black list them. Give me the Lancers. Rogues v. Lancers: Even with their team out this week there is no way the beat a fresh Rogues team on the back end of a double header. Give me the Rogues easily. Eastdale: Hounds v. Cowboys: Hounds (along with the Mustangs) are starting to look like the class of the B division. The Cowboys while vastly improved over both the Turtles and Long Horns from last season are still a ways away from being able to compete against a very good Hounds team. Give the Hounds to win easily. Hawks v. Untouchables: The two most unconsistent teams in the OTFL so far this season in this one. So hard to predict either of these teams. I'll go with the experience of the Hawks to pull this one out. OTFL v. Cowboys No disrespect to the Cowboys but I'm really routing for the OTFL squad to get their first victory in this one. Does that mean I'm going to go out on a limb and pick....? Sure why not. Give me the OTFL team in an upset. Well there you have it. A few upset picks to make things interesting. JA |

All Blacks v. Bull Dogs: JA says the bull dogs will take this in a huge victory... i still think a victory, i just dont think a huge one..... bull dogs for a 1 score victory Lancers v. All Blacks: JA wrote too much... its too hot to read it all... in the end.. we both settle on the lancers for the win. lets hope their 24985743875 week hiatus hasnt turned them soft. Rogues v. Lancers: yeahhhh.. ill take the rogues easy as well. Eastdale: Hounds v. Cowboys: H-H... you got your H you got your H... O... O... you got your O you got your O...... UNDS... HOUNDS HOUNDS HOUNDS!!!!! .......................... Hounds. Hawks v. Untouchables: I give up with both these teams. im gonna say the untouchables... which will probably mean the hawks pull their shit together... but it doesnt matter --- i never never never get these 2 stupid teams right... Untouchables.... win this damn game already... OTFL v. Cowboys i took OTFL as the underdogs last week... and they got blasted... more like incinerated... i will take the cowboys for this... yippee ki yay mother f****rs... (was that enough stars?) ... yo... JA... lets dance. |
