| Posted By: OTFL Executive Posted On: Sep 1st, 2011 Views: 1689 | New induction into the 2011 Executive The OTFL Executives are pleased to announce that Nim Jenikovszky will be filling the currently vacant role of Public Relations on an interim basis until the end of the 2011 Season. After which, the position will be up for election for the 2012 Season, as per standard protocol. The Executives are very excited to have Nim join the team. He brings a lot of enthusiasm, energy, and an undeniable admiration for the OTFL which will no doubt assist in developing our League's popularity. As he fills the role of PR, he will continue to be responsible for the weekly reviews. If you have any "worth mentioning" information that he may be able to work into his write-up, feel free to send him an email at: nim@oshawafootball.com (will be available for the week 8 in Review) Please join us in welcoming Nim in his new role. |
| Posted By: kelly Posted On: Sep 1st, 2011 Views: 1678 | RE: New induction into the 2011 Executive maybe this is the new fuel Giddy needed? laughs.. regardless of what you guys may think of "Bulldog 4 Life" (soon to be officially renamed courtesy of our homepage poll), there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a great addition to the executive.. he had prepared the reviews for weeks 6 & 7, and I am sure you will all agree that, aside from spelling Alex Veira's last name wrong (apparently not I before E, except after C), and not giving the Lancer's the 72 paragraphs of exposure they wanted ( ;) ), they've been pretty enjoyable! Welcome Nim!! oh.. and giddy.. when you go to give Nim a huge congratulatory hug... make sure im there.. okay? :) |

On that note, I will honour whatever name is chosen for me through the poll on the main page and will write the reviews under that name! I would like to take the time to thank the Executives for giving me this opportunity to act in the role of PR for the league. If there is one thing that I can say without a doubt it would be the fact that I love football through and through. I hope you've all enjoyed the reviews up till now (week 6 and 7) and they should get better as we get inch closer to the playoffs. As Kelly has mentioned, feel free to email me any noteworthy tidbits of information for any games that you think would benefit the reviews. Thank you once again! |

Can't handle anymore without them getting jealous of one another. You know how it is. ;) I had to take that opportunity because, in the other reviews, I really didn't have much to do by means of corrections. So I took the lonely chance I had. It just didn't feel right quitting cold turkey from the 1 review attempt (previous PR) to the next. |
