Ouch

Well, as many of you know, I personally, yours truly, your beloved Bulldog 4 Life, had a horrendous game this afternoon against the Sun Devils. I will be the first to admit that this loss is on my shoulders and I take full responsibility. The Sun Devils didn't beat the Bulldogs, I did. I have apologized to my teammates for letting them down, so now we move forward.

Hats off to the Sun Devils however, showing why they're the reigning champions, as they followed being down 8-0 and making a goal line stand to prevent going down at least 14-0 to the Bulldogs, and marching down the field to score, making it 8-7. It was all downhill from there from yours truly.

JoMo, I still stand by my word though brother, if we ever have a re-match and we have our regular centre, Mr. Sportmanlike of the league, in the lineup, I will put a wager on our game without a doubt. That's how confident I am in our team.

I brought my own muzzle to the field today and left it there, because I don't ever plan on playing like that again. Now we just look forward and maybe our paths will cross again come playoff time. Good luck the rest of the way!

RE: Ouch

40-8

nimmmmmm... commmeeee onnnnnnn..... you cant actually expect that because your center wasnt there (and sure, you were snapping them in the dirt, and over the QBs head from time to time), that THAT was why you lost..

maybe one score.. .. maybe even possibly a second.. but not 40-8..

the sun devils are an excellent team... and though you do seem sincerely disappointed in your playing through what you wrote, in the same words its like you are trying to take away the credit that the sun devils deserve...

talk big all you want.. and when you win, talk bigger.. but when you lose... come on..... ya got to just man up... its easy to say that "if you match up again with your main center there, youd put money on your team to win" when you know damn right you wont get a match up against them again... you would need to finish 1st in the B, then flip up to the A and beat the 4th place team in the A to then get a chance at the sun devils (assuming they stay on top of the board).

....... i just dont see it... BUT.. alas.. youve proven me wrong time and time again...

should you find yourself sharing the field with them again, i hope you have all your boys out... :) so this way there arent any excuses... .. you guys are very up-and-coming... but the sun devils have a lot of experience already earned... and today, it showed. (ps. they didnt have their regular center either ;))

... and i know i just said what a lot of people thought after reading what you wrote.. so dont hate me.. im too awesome to hate.... trust dat.

(ps. heres a hug... i think you need it... *hug* ) :D

They are just way better than you guys at the present time. Suck it up "Butter Cup 4 Life".

We had a rough week as well. Life sucks some times.

Lesson learned for the "Young Mouthy PUNK 4 Life"

RE: Ouch

Are you talking about the center who snaps rainbows? Agree with Kelly he would not have made difference. I predicted a score of 35 -6 and was pretty bang on. Sorry sun devils I underestimated your offense and shortchanged you guys.

The Bulldogs have been served a serious case of humble pie getting lit up in their last two games by average of 39 points. Slow down the smack talking on the boards and on the field especially when you guys are getting creamed.
Let your actions on the field do the talking but with your recent play there's not much talking to do.

Here's another gem to ponder, the Mustangs and Lancers will bounce you out of 1st place and you wouldn't even get a shot back up at A teams in preliminary playoffs. Think you guys may have blew your wad prematurely.

RE: Ouch

First of all my name is spelled Jomo...lol and I really don't have anything to say but we play with an average with 9-10 players. That's what we are able to do when you have football players. I'm not the starting center and I had a bad snap when we were 2nd an goal. We do what we gotta do its just that simple. Nim I know you from other leagues and you know my play, so if your that foolish to put up the wager, then here what it is. I will bet you that who ever loses that game cannot play in Oshawa league! Your team can but not you, and the same goes for me. Now with that said do u wanna take this bet little puppy dog you! Lmao

RE: Ouch

yeah.. poor buccs... :( dont know the final scores yet but scott did say you guys lost both...

although its bittersweet because, well, that made my picks right...

FYI: scott has been throwing up all night.. sooo.. please give him an inch of leniency that the stats arent up yet... and.. may not be up until late today/tomorrow.

i dont have a puke splash guard on either of the laptops, so they are not allowed to be in the bathroom with him during his time of grossness..

RE: Ouch

Jomo, I'll buy your team a case of beer, but my career in Oshawa is not up for grabs, it wouldn't be a retirement match as you're much closer to that age than me anyway lmao :)
You're absolutely right though, you gotta make due with what you've got, and we didn't. Round one goes to you guys, congrats. Whether we play again or not this year is up for grabs but we'll see how the season plays out.

RE: Ouch

Retirement? Read carefully, I will do that when you win a championship in A division, so that means I can play for another 20 years lol. Plus the reason I made that bet with you was your a not liked man, your shit talking on and off the field is not cool, yes I talk shit all the time, but all the hardware I hold is enough proof. So maybe you need to shine on the field before you come at the champs! You got a good little team there so becareful before I take away some of your players to come play with us!! Trust me if I start to recriut your players you might not have a team next year, so be easy and crawl before you walk. And listen to advice from your teammates, you might learn something or too.

Cash it buddy another center ain't making up for a 32 point @#$* kicking. Blame yourself all you want but it sounds like a swiss cheese D is your bigger problem.

RE: Ouch

Whether I'm liked or not liked, frankly I don't really care. I have fun and peeps that know me know that that's what I'm about and there's no denying that I love to stir the pot. It's all subjective, so to each their own. Call it what you will, I like to cause a little raucous, makes things more interesting.
Every dog has its day and yesterday we had ours.

Our team will be the first to point out that we didn't put our best paws forward yesterday and the score reflected it. Every team is beatable, yes even the Sun Devils, on any given Sunday otherwise there would be no point in playing this game if none of the other teams believed the exact same thing. You guys are definitely a great team, no doubt about that, but still very beatable.

RE: Ouch

I think there's too much talk on the internet and not enough football on the field. Bulldogs have an excellent squad and I think have the talent to compete against A-level teams in Oshawa but unfortunately not the experience to make on field adjustments on either side of the ball (IMHO). And since Nim is the only one who comes on here talking, and that I know several of the Bulldogs players, I know they have more class than what he is portraying for the rest of his team. And us, an experienced team knew this and didn't rub it in on the field, we just kept quite and listened to the birds and crickets in between plays.

For talking the most out of anyone in the league, yes Nim, you had a lack luster game but anyone who has played real football, knows this is a team game and the Bulldogs lost not you. There's no "Nim" on the standings board, so come down off that imaginary pedestal and stop putting yourself before your team as if you are the reason your team will either win or lose. Don't get me wrong, you're a good player but not a difference maker. That being said, neither am I, thus I do my job and nobody else's. From what I hear they do not share your same sentiments. I think it's the nonsense talk on the message board that is embarassing, not the score.

My 2 Cents

RE: Ouch

Classy teams do their thing on the field and no words need to be said. That's how you get respect. Bulldog 4 Life keeps trying to tell everyone how good they are before they've accomplished anything. I am surprised your "two good friends" on your team put up with your garbage. Put a muzzle on your mouth and you'll get respect even if you can't get it on the field.

RE: Ouch

awww.. now im feeling bad for poor nim... (although, most of what was said was similar to what i said... ) butttttt... i dont know you PERSONALLY... so i hope nothing i say is taken personally...

im just talking about your football personality.. :) i find it funny to read.. but alas.. i also dont play the sport (for real), so it obviously wouldnt get to me the way it may get to the others...

when i did play sports, there werent message boards like this to shit talk on..... probably a good thing with my temper... laughs.. id be sending this during my 30 mins. of internet time from Kingston Pen.

so... with this being said.... you still keep the tumbleweed away from the chat board, nim... and i dont think anyone can challenge that "hardware" ....... figuratively speaking, of course.

RE: Ouch

I am never one to put myself ahead of the team, I simply owned up to the fact that my play (and yes one person's play can affect an outcome of a game), had a drastic affect on the game. I'm not saying that everyone else on the team played perfectly, we lost as a team and when we win, we win as team, there's no denying that. I talk because that's my personality, and as for the Sun Devils being so called "classy" and not chirping during the game, I think we must have been at different fields then cuz all of us heard it. So please don't come off as being all "holy."

As I've said before, I talk cuz that's my nature and I can take it just as I can dish it, so if people are sensitive, that's unfortuatnely not within my control and like Kelly said before, when you see a post from "Bulldog 4 Life," don't open it. It's everyone's choice to read what I write, so if people don't like it or don't find it entertaining or they get upset by what I write, please do not read. Simple.

RE: Ouch

BTW, I'm not sure what posts everyone has read but I don't I made any predictions that we're going to win this past sunday or the previous sunday, or the previous (all right, save and except for the double header with the Hawks and Bucs, mainly cuz of Giddy and Scott lol), but other than that, all I've really said was that we're going to come to the field and play hard and get ready for a war. Not sure how that can be miscontrued as trash talking, but hey I could be wrong.

RE: Ouch

I think that what Grammer Police 4 Life is saying is that our canine friend has affected the persona of a football player who can actually have an effect on the field. Unfortunately his kittenish purr-formance does not effect the impact for which he strives. Longs for, even. How disappointing for him, cute little fella.

RE: Ouch

B4L it happens to all great football players. You do not need to explain your self we understand. If some people actually got off their fat assesss (Kelly) and actually played the game instead of commenting on it this would be a better game. Jomo is a joke too, do not waste your time or money on him. He will be in jail soon and you will never collect.

RE: Ouch

While I appreciate the support, I'm not in agreement with your justification. First off Kelly does play in the co-ed league and she's mad cool. Secondly, I've known Jomo for years, played with him and against him and yes we trash talk back and forth, but I have never had reason to doubt him as a person. He's funny as hell!!!

the good thing about the internet, is that even an alias doesnt mean complete anonymity...

regardless.. I would recognize that horrible grammar and sentence structure anywhere.. sooooo... I hardly think the tea pot should call the kettle black... you eat just as much twinkies as i do...

and.. hell.. im sure even with just 1 season of football under my belt... ive put up more points than you in your whole career...

go bring that to your detective friend ... see if he can charge me on that comment.. at least im MAN enough to type MY name... and not think im hiding behind an alias about a sport i suck at..

here *throws you a twinkie* oh..... a miracle... you can catch fat boy treats...
