Etiquette

Hey Guys,

There were a few issues with player etiquette at the Central field today. Myself included I'm ashamed to say. I heard everything went well at Donevan. So I just wanted to let you know that if you get two major fouls (personal foul/unsportsmanlike conduct/rough play, etc) in one game you will be ejected from that game and suspended from the next game (these two major fouls can very easily come in one play and will still result in an ejection). If you are ejected from two games in one season the case will be discussed between the officials and executive and will likely result in a season long suspension. Each team is allowed to pick 3 captains at the beginning of each game and only these people are allowed to ask the referees questions. No one is permitted to argue calls with the officials and only team captains should be talking to the officials. Consider this your first warning and do not expect a second warning from the officials on the field.

Remember we are all paying money to be out there and it's all about having fun and being competitive and sportsmanlike. Let's make the job as easy as we can for the officials.

If you feel that your team captain cannot get an adequate answer from the official on the field then please feel free to email the executive at oshawafootball@gmail.com with your question and we will look it up in the Tfont rulebook and get back to you with an answer promptly. Don't continue to repeatedly ask the referee at the field the same question over and over again.

Thanks,

Scott

RE: `Etiquette`

And guys, please respect the refs. They are a great resource and we really appreciate how much help us out. They do this for the love of the game of football like we all do. So thank them before and after the games as well. They do a fantastic job for the league, and make it possible for you all to have an enjoyable and safe experience.

I hope that all of the new and old teams in the league enjoyed week 1 of the season. Here's to a good season for all.
