| Posted By: OTFL Executive Posted On: Jun 22nd, 2011 Views: 1662 | Week 2 in Review Week 3 in Review At Central the day started with a very close game between the All Blacks and the Lancers that the All Blacks won 12 ? 9. For the second straight week the Lancers were without their All Star Quarterback Jay Steinberg. It was a family affair for the All Blacks who got touchdowns from Matt and Tony Chang to account for all their scoring. The All Blacks looked to keep the momentum rolling in their second game of their double header against the Bulldogs. After jumping to a 14 point lead the All Blacks seemingly ran out of gas and the Bulldogs put up 32 unanswered points to take this game 32 ? 14. Andrew Q and Travis Thomas led the Bulldogs with 12 points apiece. Despite their impressive game against the All Blacks, the Bulldogs were quickly brought back down to earth by the Rogues who beat them soundly 33 -7. James Hough led all scorers in this game with 13 points as the Rogues remain undefeated through 3 games this season. Over at Eastdale the Raiders started out their tough day with a 13 ? 6 loss to the Buckeyes. Chris Pierre had 6 points and 2 interceptions in the Buckeyes Victory. The Buckeyes now sit 2 and 1 but still find themselves in third place in the ?A? division. The Raiders woes continued in the second game of the day against the Sun Devils as they fell 26 ? 7. Krys Saunders put up 12 points to the lead the way for the Sun Devils. The Sun Devils continued their impressive day with a victory over the Hounds 34 ? 8. Martin Lesmond of the Sun Devils led all scorers with 18 points. Brandon Clark added an interception to remain tied with Chris Pierre atop the interception leaders. With the win the Sun Devils, like the Rogues are undefeated in 3 games this season. At Donevan the day started with the Turtles picking up their first ever OTFL win 28 ? 14 over the Longhorns. Imran Mohammed played well putting up 18 points and 1 interception for the Turtles. The Longhorns had a second chance at their first OTFL victory but they weren?t able to pull it out against the Buccaneers who won it 18 ? 14. Evan Guilette put up 12 points and had one of the Buccaneers 4 interceptions. The Longhorns fall to 0 ? 3 on the season while the Buccaneers start their season with an impressive 3 ? 0 record. In the final game of the day at Donevan the Hawks were able to take it to OPC 33 ? 13 and improve their record to 2 ? 0. Ben Blanche had a day to remember as he put up 26 points and an interception. With the 26 points Ben Blanche currently leads all OTFL scorers with 38 points on the season. With the loss OPC falls to 0 ? 2 on the season. In Co-ed action the Intercpticons and Urine Trouble played to a 14 ? 14 tie, while ASU edged Dawksports 21 ? 18 A couple weeks off for the OTFL?s Men?s division. Will the Rogues, Sun Devils, Buccaneers and Hawks continue their winning ways after the break? Will the Hounds, OPC and the Longhorns find out a way to get into the win column?
