| Posted By: Scott Posted On: May 28th, 2011 Views: 1768 | OTFL Preseason Tourney Results Here are the results from the OTFL pre-season Tournament. Spartans over the Steelers for the "A" championship All Blacks over the Little Giants for the "B" championship Hawks over the Buccaneers for the "C" championship A huge thank you to all the teams that entered and especially to all the team reps for all their efforts in organizing their teams. In my opinion the tournament was a huge success. After a small delay getting started things ran pretty much on time for the rest of the day and for the most part the weather co-operated. I realize that the field conditions weren't the greatest on the main field and that games with one ref were a little tough but there wasn't much that could be done about the field and as for the refs I think the refs we had Aggy (I apologize for the spelling) and Flutie both did an excellent job and it's saving on these things that allow us to keep the costs so low. So a thank you to Flutie and Aggy for their great work today. Also a huge thank you to all the members of the OTFL executive Tanya Bezzant, Mike Rafuse, Drew Walker and especially to my wife Kelly for all their efforts today. We couldn't have done this without their help. If you have any feedback or suggestion on the tournament please let me know as the only way to make things better is to hear from the players as to what would make the experience more enjoyable for them. Thanks again to everyone and I hope to see everyone back again next season for another great tournament. Scott |
