The Oshawa Touch Football League Executive is running elections for the positions of Public Relations, Webmaster, and Director of Auxiliary Divisions. The duties for each position are as follows: Webmaster Duties: - Ensure all website information is up to date (including Sponsors, pictures, homepage, etc.) - Implement new website ideas in a timely fashion - Ensure website continuity - Being a contributing voice of the executive - Other duties as required Director of Auxillary leagues Duties: - Leading the exploration of various alternative divisions(ie. co-ed, women's, kids) and working in conjunction with League President to head up their development - Being the first person of contact for interested individuals - Basic scheduling (to be approved by League President) - Being a contributing voice of the executive in areas pertaining to, and including these divisions - Other duties as required Public Relations Duties: - Preparing in a timely and quality manner a Week in Review write up to be posted on the website and on the message board following approval - Preparing in a timely and quality manner reviews of all major OTFL events (including but not limited to the preseason tournament, kick off weekend, all star game/ skills competition, championships, year end banquet, etc) - Getting these reviews and other articles placed in local newspapers and online on appropriate websites following approval - Gaining league exposure by having local media coverage for major OTFL events. - Providing Director of Administration desired written content for printed media (brochures, posters, signs, etc) and, upon its completion, distributing it around Oshawa and the surrounding areas. - Coming up with dynamic new ideas to enhance and promote the league within budget set by League President - Being a contributing voice of the executive - Other duties as required If you are interested in running for any of these positions please email the executive at oshawafootball@gmail.com with your name and the position you are interested in by November 15th, 2010.
