| Posted By: John Anthony Posted On: Aug 20th, 2010 Views: 1682 | week 7 picks Hi All, Sorry that I'm a day late this week, but it's great to see i'm in demand. Last week was a bit of a rough one but i was still over .500 going 4 and 3. Which brings my overall record to 26-13-1. Hoping to do a little better this week. So let's get onto the picks. Buccaneers vs. Hounds: Hounds have been looking great lately. Buccaneers not so much. Give the hot team in the higher division in this one. Hounds for the win. Westney FC vs. Killer Beezzz: After a loss last week against the Hawks this is just what the doctor ordered for the Killer Beezzz. Give me the Beezzz to take to Westney FC and get a big victory. Hawks vs. Raiders: Well the Hawks are coming a big win last week against another struggling "B" team. Can they pull out another upset this week against a struggling Raiders team. I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes. Give me the Hawks in this weeks Upset Special. Rogues vs. Buckeyes: Haven't heard much on the TJ situation not sure if he will be back for this one or not. Obviously he is a huge difference maker for the Buckeyes. Without him I don't think they are going to be able to pull this one out. With him they have a chance but it's still 50/50. Since I don't know I'm going to go with the overall odds and take the Rogues to win this one. Ruff Riders vs. Sun Devils: Both of these teams are red hot right now, with the Ruff Riders winning 5 straight and the Sun Devils winning 4 of their last 5, their only loss coming against the Ruff Riders. Should be a great game but with the Ruff Riders winning the last game by 20 points I have to go with them in this one, although I do think this game will be closer than the last one. All Blacks vs. Sun Devils: The Sun Devils are clearly the more talented team here but will they have enough left in the tank after a tough game against the Ruff Riders to win this one. I think they will so give me the Sun Devils to go 1 -1 on the day as the All Blacks woes continue. (Interesting note: THe Sun Devils are playing the only two teams they haven't beaten (that they have already played against) this weekend). Bulldogs vs. Lancers: With the Lancers having an easy game last week and another one this week they had better stay focused in this one. If they do they will completely outclass the Bulldogs and win easily. Those are the picks. As always let me know what you think. JA |

[not like any of you jocks know who that is... ] yup. id be satisfied with those 3 wishes.. :) good luck with a speedier than anticipated recovery... |
