RE: Todays Scores

Yeah looked like the big play was a pick 6 with only a few minutes left that put the Rogues ahead. That's how you lose a championship game that it looked like the AllBlacks controlled most of the game.

RE: Todays Scores

Post Sunday, well some of you might be nursing hang overs or battle scars but in the end the 2009 season was great. Here is the overview:

B Final:
Raiders 7 Hound 6
Well the B final was a squeaker, early in the game Kevin Goddard kicked for a 1 point to initiate the first score. But this game was all about ?D? as the Raiders had 5 interceptions in whole, 4 of them coming from Dennis Morris, Even though it was a low scoring battle it was a Defensive game. Offensively Chris Goddard had the only score and the Hounds battled back with a TD but failed on the point after. All in all it was a great battle till the end. Congrats and well deserved to the Raiders.

A Final:
Rogues 19 All Blacks 16
3 words, Freddie, Freddie, Freddie, it was the Freddie show, with the All Blacks in control for 3 quarters of the game it was later in the 4th qrt after Freddie score the 2 Td that the Rogues decided to down the point after to help conserve time on the clock, then on the All Blacks drive Freddie intercepted and the Rogues scored to take the lead. With minutes left in the game the All Blacks tried to fight back, in the end it was an exciting finish.

The Banquet was very successful as well, with Great prizes, great food and the odd cocktail. Hats off to the committee and all the OTFL ballers.
