The "C" Final had the Crew beating the Hosers with a score of 13-6. Hosers in the beginning unfortunately only had 5 players to start, then a 6th showed late in the 1st. Congrats to all finalists. Throwing in this league is very difficult and unless you have tried it you never really know how hard it is. P.S. Giddy Up! are you going to reveal your true identity at the banquet? If so, it is just another reason for everyone to make sure they are in attendance for the big reveal. Maybe we can turn it into a game where everyone fills in a ballot as to who they think the true identity is and then we randomly pull out a ballot. If the person has the correct name they win a free pitcher. Haven't run this by the executive or anything just throwing it out there. |

Most of these guys barely check their e-mail, never mind go to a message board. The ones that are able to get online are fairly friendly with Mike. Some of the guys didn't even know he was the QB until I pointed him out folding Tuna's tent last week. After 4 years of running our own website, Rich still calls me every Sunday morning to find out where the game is at. That Cement post was posted the night before and the second post was in the afternoon after the games from what I could tell. That could be anybody at the field that day. I see more bad blood/rivalry between the Buckeyes and Renegades (ex-Buckeyes/Hawks) than with the All Blacks. That being said I can't be sure it wasn't one us but I know most of us adhere to the policy of ignoring the message board for the most part as it seems to cause a lot of unnecessary drama. I for one was at a funeral Sunday afternoon and haven't had minutes on my mobile device since the Ottawa tournament. I also have better things to do than comment on the football abilities of Rafuse or TJ for that matter. It was a heart stopping game and came down to two great plays by our rookie rusher, Ryan Dixon, who in the last three plays of the game managed to get a sack and a knockdown. |
