Week 6 picks

My first perfect week is in the books, bringing my overall record for the season to a very nice 18 - 4 - 1. A nice full slate of games this week with a lot of tough ones to pick for the other prognosticators. I won't have any problem putting up my second straight perfect week though.

EASTDALE:

Sharks v Atlas: The poor Sharks have a had a tough start to the season with a close loss to the Untouchables and a loss to the new and improved Hawks and 3 other losses against A teams (The Rogues, ASU, and the Mustangs). If they lose this week though they might not even bother coming back after the long weekend. Luckily for all involved they will win this weekend and they will win BIG. Give me the Sharks to take out some pent up aggression on Atlas

Manimals v Thundercats: The first of many tough games to call this weekend. Both teams have had their ups and downs this season but considering the Thundercats beat them by 3 scores the last time the two teams met I have to take the Thundercats but I do think it will be a closer game this time.

Mustangs v OPC: Mustangs have come roaring out of the gates early this season winning 3 straight and then narrowly losing to an undermanned Rogues team. OPC not so much with their only win of the young season coming against an underachieving Raiders team. All this points to a solid victory for the Stangs but I would definitely not be shocked to see an OPC upset in this one.

Mustangs v ASU: The first time these two teams played it was ASU on the back end of the double header playing a fresh Mustangs team. The tables are turned this time and I see the result being turned as well. Give me ASU to pull out a close one as the two teams continue to battle for 2nd place.

MAXWELL:

Hawks v Rivals: Another really tough game to call. Will the Hawks new hidden gem QB be able to prevail in what will be their toughest test of the season (since they won't be playing any A level teams). I say yes but it's going to be close. Could definitely see this game going either way. Give me the Hawks.

Rogues v. Rivals: Would the Rivals really have any chance against the Rogues even if they weren't playing them on the back end of a double header. No they wouldn't. The fatigue factor just makes it even easier to call. Rogues win Big.

Rogues v. Raiders: Not too much to say here. But to make it at least a little interesting if the Rogues lose this game I'll reveal my true identity. That's how certain I am about this one.

Well there you have it. Back to back perfect weeks for yours truly.

JA
