Week 4 Report

Sharks vs. Rogues
The 9am game at Eastdale was the first of three shutouts at the field. This one was between the Sharks and the class of touch football, the Rogues. There is not much to say about this game as the Rogues dominated on offense and defense from start to finish. The final score in this game was 54-0 with the Rogues topping the Sharks. Brandon Pottle packed the score card throwing 5 TD passes, getting 1 TD of his own, and recording an interception. Andrew Brimpong had a stellar game himself corralling 2 TDs, an extra point, and an interception. Paul Leckey was the standout on D for the Rogues as he had 3 interceptions. On the bright side for the Sharks, they managed two INTs, one for Brandon Clark and the other for Jason Holman.

Final Score: Rogues 54 Sharks 0

MVP: Andrew Brimpong

Untouchables vs. Rogues
The second game of the day was the latter half of a double header for the Rogues who went up against a tough B division opponent, the Untouchables. The Untouchables put up a better fight than the Sharks, but it was still not enough to top the Rogues. The Untouchables managed 12 points with their 2 TDs coming from Andrew Williams and Ryan Phillips, who also had an INT. As for the Rogues, it was just another day at the office. Andrew Brimpong had another 2 TD game, with other TDs going to Aaron Racioppa, Dave Thomas, and Kevin Park. Andrew Brimpong picked up his second MVP award of the day.

Final Score: Rogues 35 Untouchables 12

MVP: Andrew Brimpong

Untouchables vs. Atlas
After getting the best team in the OTFL in the Rogues in the 10:30 game, the Untouchables were up against the winless Atlas squad. And as most expected, it was a decisive win for one of the best teams in OTFL’s B division. Jelani Adams had a huge day, throwing 5 TDs, 2 TDs to Ryan Forde. Atlas was unable to muster up anything on offense and are looking to bounce back next week against the Manimals in a divisional game at 10:30 am at Maxwell. Looking forward to that matchup!

Final Score: Untouchables 32 Atlas 0

MVP: Ryan Forde

Thundercats vs. Rivals

Wow. Can you say beatdown?

Not much to say on the Cats side as they couldn’t string together anything on both sides of the ball. On the flip side the Rivals moved the ball up the field with ease on the Cats D. The game opened up with a safety on the Cats, as Marlon Wong chased down Bryce Crawford in the end zone to record the sack. Marlon Wong finished with 3 sacks and a TD. The Rivals QBs had a combined 3 TDs thrown, 2 for Stu McNeil and 1 for Mikey Bezzant. Josh Devine had a standout game on offense as he put up 2 TDs and a 2-point conversion.

Final Score: Rivals 41 Thundercats 0

MVP: Marlon Wong
