Those who were recognized as the Player of the Game last week will be given their cards at the field tomorrow, and will have the week to redeem them. Although we did not have this in place last year, we did have this for several years prior... so if you are new-ish to the League, and don't know what this is all about, read on: • Each game, the Refs vote for who they consider the MVP for that game was... Only 1 player is chosen per GAME (not per team). It does not have to be the winning team, although the trends do indicate in that favour. • If you are the player of the game, you will immediately receive a postcard which you can redeem at our Sponsors (Bulldog Pub - Oshawa), for $10 off your order. These cards have no cash value, and can be used up to, and including, the next Saturday. There are no other stipulations!!! Nice and simple. So, whether you bring your teammates, your family, or some work friends... we encourage you to go and enjoy the pub fare, alcohol, and atmosphere at the Bulldog Pub [600 Grandview street south, northwest corner of Bloor & Grandview within the plaza). |
