| Posted By: John Anthony Posted On: Jul 17th, 2015 Views: 1375 | Week 7 picks A pretty solid 5 - 1 last week. Should've known better than to pick against the Sharks during Shark week. Well still looking for that first true perfect week. Maybe lucky number 7 will be the week. Eastdale: Sharks v. Untouchables: Well Shark week is officially over but I think it was just what the OTFL Sharks needed to get their mojo back. Riding high off their win over the Bulldogs they should continue their winning streak against the Untouchables. Manimals v. Untouchables: The Manimals are playing much better the last few weeks, beating the Hawks two weeks ago and then narrowly losing to the undefeated Raiders. They still don't really have much of a chance against the Untouchables but hopefully they keep improving and become a formidable opponent come playoffs. Manimals v. Rivals: Do I think if the Manimals weren't playing this game on the back end of a double header that they would win?? Well no but I do think it would be closer than most would think. As it is though the Manimals have no shot. Maxwell Heights: OPC v. Hawks: I can remember when this used to be a great rivalry. Unfortunately since then these two teams have gone in completely different directions. OPC looks like they have a legitimate shot at the "B" championship while the Hawks look to be out of contention for any type of championship. While I'd like to see a close game here just for nostalgic reasons I don't think it's going to happen. Give me OPC in a route. Thundercats v. Raiders: Playing each other for the third time already this year, crazy. It looked like based on their first meeting that the Thundercats were already close to the Raiders with the promise of getting better as they played more and gained more experience but then events of July 5th happened and now I don't know what to believe. I'd like to see the Thundercats get their groove back but after losing two straight games to this team along with their loss to the Hawks last week I just can't back this team right now. Give me the Raiders. There you have it. My first perfect week of the season. Count it. JA. |
