The preseason tournament just never really gained enough steam this year to get off the ground. We had 4 interested teams which while technically could have worked was still two teams short of the minimum I had in mind going in. But as all 4 teams seemed pretty enthusiastic about it I figured we could look into giving it a shot. Then I had some personal stuff come up that took up pretty much all of my time (nothing negative or anything but just didn't have any free time for the 2 weeks leading up the tournament). So with that fact and the fact we only had 4 teams (none of the which, including my own, had paid) I just decided there was too much to overcome to get the tournament off the ground this season. I'm definitely hoping it will be back again next season and I'm excited for what should be an awesome 2015 OTFL season. The scheduled is currently being reviewed by the team reps and will be posted Wednesday (Thursday at the latest). Scott |

I would like to see more Oshawa teams go in a least one tfont tournament this year. We have the Oshawa Rivals entering their first tfont tourney this year and we as a league wish them luck. |
