Scorecards

Hey guys,

Just a quick reminder once the scorecards are submitted they are official. PLEASE remember to meet with the refs and the opposing team rep to review the cards for accuracy (both for attendance and stats) after the game. Once again, once the scorecards have been submitted they are official. No Ifs, ands or buts about it. CHECK THE CARDS WITH THE REFS AFTER THE GAME.

If your team rep is not present at the game, or has to leave early, someone else is expected to stand in his place to fulfil this requirement. How about you?

Thanks for your cooperation.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow.

Thanks,

Scott

RE: Scorecards

In an effort to ensure accuracy, we ask that the team rep (or another representative) from both teams initial the back side of the scorecards.

For a couple teams, we updated the backs of the scorecards to include an initial section, however, this was thought up 3/4 of the way through printing.

We will not be reprinting all the scorecards to include this portion, however, there is a blank area which will suffice.

Failing to initial these cards does not give any privileges in the future to argue the stats or attendance. In years past, since introducing the approval process, there has been leniency; given that this is now the 3rd year in practice, all attendance and stats submitted are final, as indicated in Scott's message above. The only changes that will be made will be inputting errors on our end. So, should you notice stats have been inputted onto the website
incorrectly, email scott@oshawafootball.com as soon as possible for him to refer to the physical scorecard and follow-up accordingly.

Human errors happen... whether from the ref, the team rep, or the data entry man.... this is our effort to achieve 100% accuracy - Why have stats if they aren't correct?
