Whats the "Buzz" in he OTFL

Hello Ballers, Fans and Loyal Readers.

Sorry I missed the weekend of the Unionville Tourney but those 5 games I played plus the 1 Coed Final and a Wednesday night game all caught up with me as Life got in the way. But good news here I am to belt out some news, updates and highlights.

League Leaders:
POINTS:
Aaron Racioppa from the Rogues is leading the way @ 129 points with OPC's Ryan Henriques with 84.
SACKS:
Manimals Mark Pusnammy has a solid lead with 17 and a two way tie for 2nd Buckeyes Shane Ruest and Marvin ???? from the Brew Crew.
INTERCEPTIONS:
In 1st place Buckeyes Dave St. Louis with 10 and a close 2nd with Brian Santos of OPC with 9.
Anyone's race in this category.

So its hard to also believe that the regular season is almost at the end, with the playoffs around the corner. Just feels like yesterday we ran our first pattern or got our first injury. Now we are all healed up and warmed up to finish off the season tour.

Lets start off @ Donevan as we had 2 contests there.

9am OPC vs Manimals
I actually got up early to go see this game on this early humid morning.
This game in the beginning was all Manimals as they were doing very well moving the ball and were successful in being the ones to 1st score.
But I guess as OPC players started to drag in as the game went on and they were able to get there morning cob webs out, they bounced back to take control and eventually win this contest.
Scorers on the day: OPC Brian Santos 13 pts, Dave Chapelle 8 pts and Ryan Henriques with 6.
Manimals Justin Glover with the only TD, btw which I witnessed as he leaped up for a power house grab.
Score : OPC 27 OPC 6

10:30 am Raiders vs Cowboys
We have here a "B" and "C" division squads battling out and from what I heard divisions didn't matter on this Any Given Sunday.
With both clubs scoring evenly till the end, but with the Raiders having one more scorer to contribute to the cause, it was the Raiders that came on top.
Younger Lafoy (Cole) was on his game as he just keeps getting stronger and become more of a Key element as he racked up 12 pts, following him was Jay "Too Tall" Coulas and Crazy Legs Tony Chang both with 6 pts.
Cowboys are a bend but don't break type of club and they gave it their all. Tony Doyle, Jared Mercier and Andrew Niven were all scorers on the day.
Score: Raiders 27 Cowboys 20

9am Maxwell
Bulldogs vs Untouchables
Sorry not a whole lot to report on this game as I heard that the game almost didn't happen due to bodies. but be remained for a game to start legally by TFont rules, we only need 5 players to start.
Anyways the game did play out and this was all Bulldog's as they scored 24 pts to the Untouchables 7.
Next time this will be a closer game.BD's Dave Zmozynski was the scoring leader for his team.
MVPS please refer to the STATS icon.

1030am
Mustangs vs Untouchables
5 scorers led the Mustangs to victory as the Untouchables didn't have enough in the tank to capitalize in this contest. UT's will get things together and in check for this Sundays contest for sure.
Score: Mustangs 23 Untouchables 0
MVPS please refer to the STATS icon.

High Noon
Mustangs vs Steelers

two very strong, quick and experienced clubs with the forecasting of anyone's guess that this would come down to the last play of the game to determine our winner.
BUT JJ Edwards proved this to be wrong as he singly led his team to the promised land with 20 pts., both teams had 2 INT's as well, but it was all offense in the this contest for the Stangs.
SCore: Mustangs 32 Steelers 1

9am Central (Vanier)
Rogues vs Hounds
what Aaron R wasn't the high scorer in this game, what's up with that, just joking but it was classic fashion football playing by Brandon Pottle as he added 12 pts to help contribute to another Rogues win. Hounds gave it their all but ended up losing a friendly bet in the end.
Score: Rogues 32 Hounds 0
MVPS please refer to the STATS icon.

1030am
Rogues vs Buckeyes
Well the last time these two teams did battles it was all Rogues. in this contest it was a much more improved game on the part of the Buckeyes as they fought till the bitter end. But as I eat my words from the last post we had Rogues Aaron Racioppa lead the way to help contribute to his eye on the prize scoring title with 19 points. Again when these two meet it will be that much closer of a game, or so I'm told ????
Score: Rogues 26 Buckeyes 12
MVPS please refer to the STATS icon.

High Noon
Hawks vs Buckeyes
A good match up vs two classy clubs as they always enjoy each others words of competitiveness.
Hawks gave a valiant effort but came up short as the Buckeyes were able to capitalize on some plays to results in points.
Score: Buckeyes 30 Hawks 0
MVP's please refer to STATS icon

Well this is Buzz signing off and wishing everyone the best of luck in this Sundays contest.

Yours in Football Fun,
Buzz
