Posted By: Bulldog4Life Posted On: Jul 24th, 2012 Views: 1830 | Storylines to follow Wow...what a great season so far...great competition all around! So the question is...who will be crowned as the first seed in the A division? The Steelers took a big loss this past weekend to a rejuvenated Rogues' squad, who evened their head to head record with the Steelers to 1-1. There's a big showdown coming up this Sunday between the Steelers and Bulldogs for first overall in the A (for now at least). Who's it going to be? My money's on the bulldogs (naturally lol). The scoring race might come down to two beasts...Dave "the Polish sensation" Zmozynski and Brandon Clark of the Hounds. With all due respect to Brandon though, Dave has been going up agains higher quality opponents in the A all year and piling up the points (no disrespect to the B Division, but it's the truth). Who will be first in the B Division? The Mustangs seem to have some momentum as they're off to a quick 4-0 start and are looking to overtake the Hounds and OPC for top spot, who are both 5-2. My gut tells me that the Mustangs will overtake both teams and take the top seed in the B Division. Just wanted to get some convo going as the message board has been pretty quiet with lack of reading material. Leave it to me to start somethin' up! What's all y'all thinkin'? |

If had to pick a qb to win one game for you? Reciever with best hands/ cant be covered? Best defender? Best all around player? |
Posted By: Bulldog4Life Posted On: Jul 24th, 2012 Views: 1805 | RE: Storylines to follow Great questions.... QB to win the game for you with it on the line... Spackman Receiver with best hands/can't be covered - B. Pottle Best defender - Bryant Trotman (bulldogs) - he hasn't had much exposure as he missed all of last year but he's a beast on defence Best all around player - B. Pottle (for now) lol |

Posted By: kelly Posted On: Jul 24th, 2012 Views: 1752 | RE: Storylines to follow nim nim nim..... dave z or brandon??? apples and oranges... if anything, dave has MORE opportunity to score because he has a better QB (being of A quality)... we all know im team brandon... maybe even safe to say im team clarke bros. so yes, im the first to say im biased. ... but come on now.. to put up the stats that he has, within the B is no less impressive than what Dave is doing in A... (and.. on a side note... we know how spackman has fave players... those two met in the co-ed division last year, and it was obvious that it was a match made in football heaven.... dave z is the new jance... and we all know how many points jance). ps. go hounds go... |

Posted By: Oh yeah Posted On: Jul 25th, 2012 Views: 1698 | RE: Storylines to follow And we all know WHY Jance got all those points. Out of spite. |
Posted By: Scott Posted On: Jul 25th, 2012 Views: 1695 | RE: Storylines to follow HUH? Spite towards who? |
Posted By: Brett Posted On: Jul 26th, 2012 Views: 1656 | RE: Storylines to follow i believe he got them because he was open?? Then again what do i know about duck farming :) |
Posted By: TJ Bradimore Posted On: Jul 26th, 2012 Views: 1621 | RE: Storylines to follow Don't know who made the 'out of spite' statement, but the basis for it might be the way in which that team tried to get Jance points -- ie. stepping out of bounds on the 1 so that Jance could get the TD. I think there was a real incentive to get Jance the scoring title, but I have no idea why, nor am I even remotely curious. Jance being a very solid football player also had a lot to do with many of those points. Just thought I'd shed what little light I had. TJ #18 Oshawa Buckeyes |
