| Posted By: John Anthony Posted On: Jul 20th, 2012 Views: 1673 | Week 7 picks Well I kind of messed up by not putting the games down right. OOOPS. But I did pretty well with the games I at least put down correctly going 4 - 2. With the faux pas I'll take the 4 - 3 overall on the day. Not great but still a winning record. On to this week's picks. Maxwell Raiders v. All Blacks: Two teams struggling to get things going this season both with performance and attendance. I see the All Blacks getting the win here possibly starting a late season run. Raiders v. Buckeyes: Buckeyes fall into the above category as well with their only victory coming via Homer Simpson's favourite two words "De Fault". So this is in a way a battle of two winles teams. I think the Buckeyes are a lot better than their record has shown so far this season. Give me them to get their first real win of the year in this one. Hawks v. OPC: Well Hawks I went out on a limb and took you guys last week and it cost me. You are going to have to get back into my good books before I'll take you again. OPC looked vulnerable in a close win against OTFL but I still need to go with them in this one. Give me OPC in a close one. Central: Rogues v. Steelers: This should be a great game. Hopefully the Rogues are able to get a full squad out for this one if they do it should be a very close game. Either way though I have to go with the unbeaten Steelers to keep it rolling in this one. Lancers v. Rogues: As luck would have it these two teams will get to finish what they started last week in the weather shortened contest. With Jay being a wildcard and the Rogues leading last week when the game was called I don't see any reason to believe the Rogues won't win this one. Give me the Rogues. Bull Dogs v. Lancers: Well let last week be a lesson to me; Never pick against your favourite team. I learned my lesson the hard way and until you give me reason to do so I won't pick against the Bull Dogs again (except maybe when they play the Steelers but we will cross that bridge when we get to it). Give me the Bull Dogs. Cowboys v. OTFL: Well I already picked this game out of turn last week and no reason to change my pick now after the strong performance put in by OTFL last week. Give me OTFL once again. Hounds v. Mustangs: Clearly the "B" division game of week. The Mustangs look like a team that doesn't even belong in the " B" whereas the Hounds look like the class of the "B" as it standa right now. Although I'm routing for the Hounds I'll have to take the Mustangs. Mustangs v. Untouchables: See above. Untouchables are starting to get things going and hopefully this game which they will most likely lose wont lead to infighting within the team. Give me the Mustangs to move to 4 - 0. Well there you have it. Pretty sure I'm mistake free this week (at least with listing the proper games). My four pick is: Buckeyes over Raiders; Bull Dogs over Lancers; Mustangs over Untouchables and I guess All Blacks over Raiders As always let's hear your thoughts. |

Raiders v. All Blacks: all blacks. Raiders v. Buckeyes: buckeyes Hawks v. OPC: hawks... with hesitancy.... hopefully they have enough guys to field a team. ... Central: Rogues v. Steelers: ohhhh... exciting.... steelers. Lancers v. Rogues: rogues Bull Dogs v. Lancers: bull dogs Cowboys v. OTFL: ..... i cant remember what i picked last week? i think cowboys... so i will say cowboys again to shake things up.. but again.. with hesitancy. Hounds v. Mustangs: give me my boys in purple... sorry mustangs.. but i do agree its the B division finals right here... hounds - you better bring your guts, glory, and balls to this match. Mustangs v. Untouchables: mustangs. JA... you think you have a perfect day? silly boy. where we differ - i am right... nuff said. |
