The OTFL season is almost upon us and with that said, a few represented OTFL Teams and Individual Ballers took the field a bit earlier to do action in this years 2012 Early Bird Tourney hosted in Belleville. Three Sqauds represented very well with 2 of them making it to the Finals and another to the Semi's. Our Lancers won the Cup capturing the "C" Finals by beating a well know Ottawa Invictus Squad, Well done Lancers. In the "CC" Division it was almost a OTFL Final with the Buckeyes matching up against the All Blacks. But with a couple of short fallings the Buckeyes missed out on the opportunity, Captain Mike "RAF" Rafuse stated "overall the Team played very well and had a great first tourney". Hats off to the Buckeyes. The All Blacks in turn played the St.Catherine Transformers (formely the Ducks) and with falling short and not converting on two key interceptions and turning them into scores, resulting in the AB's losing 4 scores to 2. All in all, the weather was Great as the Football Gods looked upon us as we all represented in Classic professional OTFL style. Way to go Teams!
