It was another tough week last week for yours truly, going a disgusting 2 - 6. Well no time for excuses (ie. the Bucs only having 5 guys, The Sun Devils forfeiting, the Bulldogs not having their QB, the Buckeyes not having their QB, etc.) let's just do better this week and end on a strong the season on a strong note. CENTRAL Mustangs v. Buckeyes The Mustangs need to win 1 of their 2 this weekend to make things interesting in the "B" division. The Buckeyes are in a battle with the All Blacks to stay out of the basement in the "A" division. So while the Mustangs do have more to play more and the Buckeyes have not looked very good lately I'm still going to take the Buckeyes to win a really close game in this one. Mustangs v. Sun Devils I'm going to pick this game strictly on the fact that I don't see the Sun Devils attendance issues working themselves out this week and a full Mustangs team will be able to beat a short Sun Devils team. Give me the Mustangs. Rogues v. All Blacks Rogues should be fired up after their loss last week against the Lancers and while I think the All Blacks have shown vast improvement over the course of this season I still see the Rogues winning this one but I think it will be a close one. HENRY Raiders v. Longhorns It appears I have ruffled a few feathers with an apparently anonymous Raider. JA is not here to cause issues but merely to provide an interesting read for the players of the league each Thursday (sometimes Friday). At the same time JA will not be bullied into not calling it like he sees it (especially by anonymous posters). Last week the Raiders got lucky again facing a Bulldogs team without their starting QB. When playoffs roll around and the Raiders start to face full "B" (or maybe with some "luck" "A") teams they will be in for a rude awakening. That said I don't see them having any trouble with the Longhorns who I vastly overestimated last week. Raiders v. Hawks So hard to pick this game. Raiders haven't really had a real test in a long time and with the Bucs only having 5 players last week neither have the Hawks. I always like to try to pick one upset each week so let's take the Hawks to provide that upset this week but this game could definitely go either way. Hounds v. Hawks Tough weekend to end the year for the Hawks. That accompanied with the easy week (see below) for the Buccaneers would have given the Bucs a great chance at winning the "C" division (if they were able to get more than 5 guys out last week). But I digress back to the game at hand, the Hounds remain red hot right now and as they are one of the only two I picked right last week there is no way I'm going to pick against them in this one. Give the Hounds to beat a tired Hawks team in a low scoring game. DONEVAN Turtles v. Buccaneers A meaningless game for the Bucs this week after losing to the Hawks last week but an easy one none the less. The Turtles are locked into the 4th place spot in the "C". Give me the Bucs to win this one (as long as they can at least get 6 guys out this week) Lancers v. OPC No contest. Lancers. Not sure if Mr. Veira will be there to pad his scoring title or not but either way this will be an easy win for the Lancers. Bulldogs v. OPC Tough weekend for OPC as this should be another loss. Give me my favourite team to pick up an easy win this week. There are the picks. Love ?em or hate ?em I want to know what you think. Even you Raider 1 whoever you are. JA |

Kudos to them for being as sportsmanlike as they were, I am shocked a team modeled after the raiders was so damn classy! In other news, dislocated kneecaps hurt. :( |

Hope your knee fixes quick. Luckily there's no games next week with it being thanksgiving weekend. Ps. Wooowoooo for the hawks taking out the hounds in their 2nd matchup of the day. When you start to play football on a women's touch team, that goes to tournaments and can run up down the field twice with out popping out your knee. Also, not have a heart attact on the field or the sideline....then you will have earn the right to speak about football. At that point I will then give you some respect. As of now I will give more respect to Crack Whore in Oshawa! At least she loves what does so much that she goes out performs for her dollars. Congrats Hawks! Why do you not read a few posts about what Kelly has said about me. She loves to slam my name and also out people. Scott, I have no problem with you. I have never made a comment about you the person or you as the league President. I have not said a negative word about any team in the league including your own. The only negative comments I have made is about your wife who continues to insult my name and my team's name. Last week Kelly did not comment on the Raiders becuse we were not worth it and so I did not say a thing to her or to her picks. Though in her rebutle she had to call me out and I am bad guy. Well that is just stupid! But, if she wants to fight with me then bring it on. She has a very big mouth, makes a lot of negative comments about football players in are league. As a member of the Executive I have never commented on her job. But the truth is she is a glorified 'secretary' "yah" she does her job. I see none of the other members of the excutive making comments. Only her! Unprofessional and just wrong. She admits that she only does the job to spend time with you. So what does that say Scott (you do not want to be around her either?) Scott, you have only made negative comments when it is defending your wife. Other than that you are good guy. I still think that about you and I understand you are defending your wife. But if she is going to come on this board and make negative comments about people/me then she has to be prepared to take the bull shit. Who gives her the right to out people on this board. It has been funny to read, a little rough at times, but never this personal. It is easy for any reader to understand why all involved are pissed for some reason. Maybe the line is easier to cross online, but cooler heads should hopefully prevail at this point and the situation rectified before it gets carried away. My advice (2 cents), for what it is worth, is to discontinue any posts on this matter online and talk to one another on the phone or on the field. This league is run exceptionally well and has a lot of good people in it. There isn't a league within the GTA that I haven't played in at least once and this is one of the best by far. I am sure this will blow over and we can go back to trash talking each other in a fun, respectful for the most part way. Much love! |

What's that about? As for the glorified secretary that's total BS Kelly pretty much runs this league and if you ask anyone on the executive they will tell you that league would not be even close to what it is without her hard work. She constantly comes up with great ideas to make the league stronger. In two years on the executive you didn't come up with one good idea. Also Kelly has on many occasions commended the Raiders for what good guys they are so the whole thing about her saying taking shots at all the players on the Raiders is again total BS. Finally Kelly has never once said a negative thing about anyone in this league ever so once again that is total BS. Scott |

My reasons for being in the exec are in part to spend time with scott, but also to help him. He does a lot more than you'd all think. It is a lot of work to run a league, so I offered my help in what I do well. Organizing shit. I organize, scott implements. Its successful so far. I'm pretty much just here as an extension of his duties because this IS a volunteer gig, and he has a real job to do as well. And trust me, scott loves me. I'm pretty awesome. So he doesn't wanna avoid me; if he did do you think he would let me join the exec? Another flaw in logic. Doneeeeeeedy.
