| Posted By: KA Posted On: Aug 23rd, 2011 Views: 1568 | how *I* see the games panning out OKAY... soooo... since we had a lot of chatter at Bulldog 4 life's expense the last couple days.. figured I would get this in here now to keep you guys with something more to read/bitch about.. .. Last week i got my turtles/hounds game wrong.. :( and since that was the game that JA decided NOT to copy by picking the B team over the C team in a safe bet... well... he got perfect... so now is my turn to redeem myself.. but only 1 wrong each week isnt too bad ... shrugs. Central: Longhorns vs Turtles: I find myself being hesitant to say Turtles here...... not wanting to be bit in the ass like I was last week.. but if they get their top guys back, then they will win this no problem.. if they don't get their top guys back.. .. then its going to be a much closer game -- but im still thinking they will putt out a win. so i will pick the turtles....... and shake my fist in a threatening "you better get shit done" way... Lancers vs Turtles: The lancers.. no need to think about it.. the Lancers clearly have no problem showing the C level teams why they are in the tier above.... Lancers vs Longhorns: hrmmm.. just realized these teams will both be on their 2nd game of the day --- but the Longhorns have a break in between... since they like to socialize over some drinks on the sidelines anyway, they may be a little tipsy come 2nd game time... (maybe this is what they need to win?? playing sober isnt doing too well for them.... :( ) alas.. the Lancers will continue their "kill the C division" streak... I don't even see the Longhorns getting a point. .... well........ okay... maybe 1 score, since the Lancers are playing back to back, and the Longhorns will be rejuvenated. ANDERSON: Rogues -vs- Sun Devils: ohhhh... the match up of the week [at least im sure thats how JA will address this game]and with all good reason since these are the top 2 teams of the League right now... .. i can see this going either way.... and I think it will definitely be close... but for some reason I have a gut feeling the Sun Devils will take this.. they appear to have more of a hunger to win... although... personally.. i would LOVE the rogues to take it (mainly because I think the pottle clan are such sweethearts.. *blushes*). ... but mind you.... so is Brett... even Spackman is becoming a softy... !!! (whoa... did i really just say that?) okay okay... I hope for a tie!!! and that way you can all be happy when I ask for your autographs... ;) All Blacks -vs- Buckeyes: hrmmm.. another tough match up... earlier in the year, i wouldnt have hesitated at all and picked the Buckeyes in a heartbeat... But they are pretty evenly matched as of late.... especially with last weeks games against the top 2 teams, they pulled in relatively the same scores. As I cheat and look into the history books, I will have to say the Buckeyes will pull out a 2nd win against the All Blacks in yet another very close game..... I wouldn't be surprised if this game ended in a tie for real.. and not just because I want everyone happy for autograph time... :) Hounds -vs- Bulldogs: our bitch fight of the week.. on one hand we had the Hounds completely destroy 2 C level teams last week.... on the other hand we had the bulldogs begging for mercy against an A team last week..... this helps me none.... Hounds may be riding a high, but the Bulldogs (or, well, Bulldog 4 Life) has something to prove after last weeks embarrassment... so.. I will take the Bulldogs to be the last one to mark their territory on the field this week. DONEVAN Buccs -vs- OPC: .... everyone knows the outcome of this... Buccs will take it in probably a 3 score difference is my guess.. Raiders -vs- Buccs: anddddd... then the Buccs will lose it by 1-2 scores difference here... Raiders -vs- Mustangs: i almost typed Mustards... laughs.. ohhh silly me... .. following the trend of double headers, this is now where the Raiders will lose it by... im going to say at least 2 scores. Hawks -vs- Mustangs: annnd.. then.. BREAKING the trend.. and picking against my beautiful masterpiece of a husband & his teammates... the Mustangs will win their 2nd game of the day by.... 1 score... maybe 2. I am hopeful in thinking this will be a closer match up between the Hawks & Mustangs, than it was between the Hawks & Lancers.... I like to think the Hawks did so poorly last week because I couldn't make it to cheer them on.. and my eldest daughter, clearly, wasn't cheering loud enough to be heard... im at work while writing this --- so i will admit that i am not as focused as in the previous weeks.. so if none of it makes sense, then go ahead Grammar Police 4 Life..... dictionary my ass and school me... same with you "Are you smarter than a 5th grader". .. *curtsies* |

Also, I said I'd let Giddy Up! know when I'd be back. So I'm back for some light, limited duty action this weekend. Looking forward to hitting the field for a whole game again (i had a couple drives in a game two weeks ago). Also, Raffy is out this week, as he has a charitable conflict this Sunday. Our "backup QB" is also on the fence, so that might make things tougher. I'm not making excuses, I just want everybody to be informed when they're making their picks. Besides, it'd be funnier to have you change your pick and then end up wrong. TJ #18 Oshawa Buckeyes p.s. how about the Raiders getting Terrelle Pryor with their 3rd pick in the Supplemental Draft? How's Big Tuna feel about that? I think it was a pretty good pick up ... |

But alas... with possibly not having a QB, or at least a decent one, and the amount of injuries you guys have been plagued with.......... I will have to switch my pick for the All Blacks... and hope you arent just bluffing to try to play with my records because maybe you are JA? and you are trying to screw my chance at getting the 'prognosticator of the OTFL' belt... im on to you TJ......... or.. should i say JA?????????????????????????????? to make it clear: Buckeyes -vs- All Blacks --- I will be taking the All Blacks. and trusting TJ isnt being a dork. :) |

SOOOOO... I THINK THE SUN DEVILS WILL BEAT THE ROGUES IN A CLOSE ONE. :( sorry for the confusion.. but i did put the disclaimer that i was a little distracted with my M-F gig that actually pays me. |
