Week 3 in Review

After the two week break everyone was happy to get back to some football this week.

CENTRAL

Bulldogs 28 - Buccaneers 14

The Bulldogs continued to improve and show that they mean business this year with an impressive win over the Buccaneers. Andrew Q had 2 touchdowns and a conversion to lead his team to victory. Jeff Johnson scored the loan touchdown for the Buccaneers who suffered their first loss of the season.

Bulldogs 12 - Hawks 0

It was another impressive game by the Bulldogs as they beat the Hawks 12 - 0. Andrew Thomas scored the game winning touchdown and was named team MVP. The Bulldogs defense stood strong to keep the explosive Hawks? offence off the board. The 2 victories propelled the Bulldogs to first place in the ?B? division but with August games against the Mustangs, Buckeyes and Sun Devils the Bulldogs have some big tests coming up.

Hawks 30 - Longhorns 0

The Hawks came with their talons out to play against the Longhorns in the second game of their double header. Leading the way for the Hawks was Kevin Risko with 3 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. With the victory the Hawks now find themselves tied with the Buccaneers for first place in the ?C? division with a big week 4 matchup against the Buccaneers on deck.

EASTDALE

Rogues 30 ? Hounds 0

Over at Eastdale the Rogues had their way with Hounds. The Rogues played an excellent team game with 4 different players scoring touchdowns and 3 different players recording an interception.

Rogues 42 - Raiders 2

The Raiders continued to struggle against top competition as they clearly missed the presence of their veteran QB. The Rogues dominating performance over both of their opponents this week has moved them to top spot in the ?A? division. James Hough led the team with 19 points and 3 interceptions and currently leads the league in interceptions and is tied for second in points scored.

OPC 27 -Turtles 14

The noon game had OPC taking on the Turtles who were looking for their second straight victory but it was not meant to be. OPC led by Ryan Henriques and Dave Casimiro, who both had 8 points, were able pull out a big victory in this one.

DONEVAN

Mustangs 32 - All Blacks 20

Donevan featured the OTFL debut of the Mustangs as they took on the All Blacks. The Mustangs showed that they are a team to be reckoned with as they beat the All Blacks 32 - 20. The leading scorer for the Mustangs was Matt Coates with 18 points and 2 interceptions.

Sun Devils 14 - Buckeyes 12

The rivalry match between Spackman and his former team was a good one. Diarra Jerome and Krys (The Professor) Saunders led the team with a touchdown each. The Buckeyes leading scorers were Chris Pierre and Matt Rafuse both with a touch down. The victory keeps the Sun Devils undefeated on the season as a big week 4 matchup against the Rogues will have all the fans salivating.

Buckeyes 30 ? Hounds 0

The Buckeyes handled the Hounds with out a problem. To many names to list all the point getters but look at the score cards for all the latest stats.

In Co-ed action we had two great games as Dawksports held on to give ASU their first loss of the season 24 ? 20 and Urine Trouble took advantage of two huge returns (one on a punt and one on a kick-off) to beat the Intercepticons 14 ? 6.
