OTFL Tournament Recap

Here is the recap of the tournament:

"A" division:

Quarter Finals:

Replacements over the Hounds
Beez over the Raiders

Semi Finals:

Rogues over the Beez
Buckeyes over the Replacements


Rogues over the Buckeyes

Beez took 3rd place based on point differential

Congrats to the Rogues on their tournament victory. Well done boys.


Over in the "B" division we had:

Quarter Finals:

Hawks over Team Awesome
North of 7 over Da Girlz

Semi Finals:

Untouchables over the Hawks
Chargers over North of 7


Chargers over the Untouchables

Hawks took third place.

Congratulations to the Chargers on beating a very talented Untouchable team. Well done guys.

Thank you to everyone who participated for making this a great event.

Special thanks to my executive: Andrew Miller, Drew Walker and Mike Rafuse for all their help and to my wife Kelly for all of her hard work in making this happen.

Thank you to all of the volunteers for all their assistance.

Thank you to the Argos for the prizes they graciously donated as well as for securing such a great venue to hold the event.

Also (I can't believe I forgot them in the original message) a huge thank you to Kevin Dawkins and all of his officials as they did a tremendous job all day and for most games they were by themselves. We couldn't have done this without you guys.

As an outside that is not normally involved with the Oshawa league, many thanks to Scott and the entire group for a great event. It was a fun day all around!! My kids enjoyed meeting some Argos and playing in the various fun events they had on hand.

Late news update from the O.T.F.L.front desk,we have traded the Hawks to the womens Skymark division for one season to see if they can go 500.
