Lots of new developments we are hearing as teams are mixing it up and NEW teams are coming aboard. With the OTFL exec & Team Reps meeting approaching we will all have a better picture of what is to come in the OTFL forecast, let the games begin??????????. |

This will make the 2010 Beezzz ? stronger and most importantly for Buzz going into tounreys as he'll soak up the knowledge that Rich has to offer in the huddle with him & the other receivers. The funny thing will be though is that in the OTFL they'll play against each other, lets say it will be a Teacher vs the Student battles............ OS |

You could be on multiple rosters for different leagues and play as long as you only played on one tourney team. Otherwise Rogues would have no Spartans, All Blacks would have no Beezzz and Trojans, X-Men would have no Buckeyes, Lancers would have no Dirty Birdz/Raiders, and so on and so on ... |

Therefore TFONT would lose money. This rule would be a league killer and hurt tournament entry numbers. Leagues would opt out of TFONT and TFONT wouldn't accept teams that aren't in sanctioned leagues (of which they do, ie: team from Temiskaming). This looks like a major cluster f$#@. |

Now the rule is that you may play for a team in a tournament and play for another team in a different league. Yes Brandon plays for the Rogues and he can play for the SPartans because they are in a different league. I hope this doesnt stop the Bezz from coming to the league, I will be discussing this on Saturday at the teams meeting. |

Posted On: Feb 11th, 2010 Views: 2210 | RE: Rumourssssss So lets get this straight, the Bee's this year will be coming into the OTFL with 9-10 players with their main focus to play and compete for the B division. Yes there are 5/6 All Black players that play on the B's squad for tourneys. If this is the case where everyone is stating that the 5/6 AB players can't play on the B'ees tourney team is POPPYCOCK. FOR EXAMPLE: The Rogues and the Renegades joined forces last year to compete for the Nationals, if you all remember seeing with your own eyes the QB was Sapckman. Plus we all know that the Hounds had other players from other OTFL teams playing on their squad for Early Bird. So Let the history show for itself that other players from the OTFL have played together on one team for tourneys. Lets face it the Bee's are a lower level team (C divison) and in their 3rd year and its REC freaking football, this would be more concerning if we were all getting paid. Plus does Ed or the OTFL want to lose another team? Cause if this is the case and anyone wants to argue this the past speaks for itself. Stacking the Bee's is outrageous if anything as Buzz is only trying to build a solid squad with having some green ballers on the squad and is at no way trying to screw the tourney world. Please................. |

Nobody that I know would really care if the All Blacks and Beezzz joined up, and you're right that it should be pretty obvious that they're not trying to stack a roster, but - as ridiculous as people may think they are - those are TFONT rules. So if the new combined teams starts beating a team like Beaver's Hustlin' Owls, well ... just be prepared. Me? I'm just looking forward to some football and am excited by the prospects of a stronger OTFL. |
