Sad News - Fellow Baller Doug Hardinge

Some of you have probably already heard and some may not know? and at the same time alot of you Young Ballers may not of heard of this amazing individual, but the bottom line WE as a Football Family just lost one of the best Players and Best Friend you would could ever ask for.

Doug "Douggie" Hardinge has played in every Football League you can imagine and always left his trademark on and off the field. He played for a small time in Oshawa and played loyally in the Toronto, Scarborough, Ajax, Indoor and Pickering leagues. He also in his tackle days had a solid career as a RB for Churchill Collegiate and after his High School years he had played for the Scarborough Crimson Tide and Eagles. Douggie was a "smart, shifty and strong" competitor for the Love of the sport. He also coached as well sharing his wealth and knowledge of the game.

I am of course not just saying all these things because he was my best friend, but they are all true to the end.

Douggie you will be missed and I will look forward to playing ball again with you in that BIG field in the sky.

For those that would like to attend: here is the specs for Douggies Ceremony:

Monday September 14th, 2015.
Pine Mills Cemetery
625 Birchmount Road
Scarborough, Ontario
M1K 1R1
Doors open at 10am, ceremony at 11am, reception afterwards.

Warmest Regards in missing a Football Friend,
Buzz Bezzant
