| Posted By: Captain Cock Posted On: Jul 7th, 2015 Views: 1467 | Weekly picks Hello OTFL, Seeing as KA, (OPC's #1 fan), challenged us bush sitters to continue on with the post, I figured I would once again try my hand at picking the weekly winners. FYI, I was 4-2 last week getting OPC/Rogues and Rivals/Untouchables wrong. Raiders vs Maninals These teams did exactly what I expected last week. The Raiders stamped their foothold in the "C" division with a lop sided win over the Cats and the Maninals managed to take advantage of an undermanned Hawks team, which is what a team needs to do when given the opportunity. Unfortunately for the Maninals, the Raiders will easily take this one in pretty much the same manner as last week. Raiders by 20 Hawks vs Thundercats The Hawks must be disappointed with last weeks loss. They are a team of pride and I know they'll come out in full force to redeem themselves. A quick shoutout to my boy Jeff Hernandez, looking good brother. The Thundercats were handed a piece of humble pie last week but that can sometimes be a good thing. If they're able to forget about last week they should be able to get a big win this week. Cats by 6 Bulldogs vs Sharks As stated before by many, there are 3 big teams in the league and the Sharks aren't one of them. I can only pick one of the big 3 to lose when they play each other or OPC. Bulldogs by 15 Rogues vs Untouchables Untouchables had a big divisional win last week ffs, (for fuck sakes). This week will be a little different though. It doesn't take much for the Rogues to rip a game open and the the Untouchables will allow them the opportunity to do so. Rogues by 20 Rivals vs OPC The Rivals have come to life the past few weeks, as I expected, and will put up a hell of a fight this week. The thing is that they'll be facing OPC. So you know who I'm picking. But truthfully, we had a good match up the first time around and I expect much of the same this week. OPC win! Rivals vs Buckeyes. Much the like Sharks and Untouchables the Rivals will have their hands full here. Especially after a big divisional game vs OPC. Buckeyes by 14 There you have it. Good luck to all. |

I cant remember how he called it, but im sure once he puts in his picks he will reflect on it with excuses. Lets try to make this 2 weeks in a row for me.. [though, admittedly, ive been feeling like my moniker should be: Message Board Killer... boys don't like talking to girls. fact] Raiders v. Manimals. starting out by saying that I will at the very least, spell the Manimals team name right.. ;) but that is pretty much where my courtesies end for this team... Raiders proved why their name is engraved all over those awards... they. got. game. AND. they. got. Sea Biscuit. ;) HI BRETTTTT!!!! Raiders with a sweatless (but modest) victory in the double digits.. (they are too polite to run up the score.. contrary to the NFL reputation --- oh wait.. the NFL raiders suck, so theyd never have the chance to run up the score... ohhhhhhhhh Scott's gonna be crying over this jab) Hawks v. #88 Well... im definitely coming out to watch this game (if it isn't too hot out, and if its not raining, and if my kids aren't being ridiculous). Rematch of baby bro v. the husband.... I can't remember the point difference of the last game, but I do recall Thundercats winning. And, since blood is thicker than my husband's wallet... Im going to pick the thundercats for this round... :) Bulldogs v. Sharks I really do feel bad for the Sharks.. i know... they've heard it before, and they probably hear it on the sidelines... ugh... but it really is going to be a long year for my ex-fave team.. it wasn't supposed to be this way.. it wasn't supposed to be a bad breakup where, secretly, i hoped you rotted away and only had misfortune in your life... it was supposed to just be a pleasant 'parting of ways' ... amicable.. text one another from time to time and ask, "whats up?" .. but i cant.. i cant text you guys.. i know the answer already.. slaughterfest. week after week of slaughterfest... youll always have a small piece of my heart, sharks.. similar in size to the pieces that the bulldogs will rip you into on Sunday... :( ... Rogues v. Untouchables This is a game that, albeit predictable in outcome, will be a good match up for the Untouchables. I haven't seem them play this year yet.. so I have no idea if its a much different team than last year.. but I have a feeling this group of guys will go into this game as a lesson. They will play their best, not give up.... and just play one hell of a game. The Rogues will still win though.. because.. well.. they haven't lost a game in 2 decades. Rivals v. OPC I know i know i know.. i already said the hawks/#88 game was the game of the week.. BUT.. that was just smoke and mirrors... THIS is the game im looking forward to.. because it has my OPCs in it!!! GOOOOO TEAAAMMMMMMMMM.... Rivals. you puzzle me.. why aren't you winning?? A + B = Win.. and you have A + B.. but its like there are some fucking secret BEDMAS in your equation... so like (A + B)2 - 8 = LOSE ... Get rid of your BEDMAS and just fucking pull out a win already!! but not this week.. not against my OPCs... without looking ahead, im totally counting on a big win -- NEXT WEEK! OPC - you got this, for now. But be careful once the rivals cleanse their chalk boards of bullshit mathematics, and start writing football plays... cauuuuse then they will mean business. Rivals v. Buckeyes I think the poor Rivals will have left it all out on the field with OPC that they just won't have anything left.. and with that, i call an easy win for the Buckeyes. okay.. back to my day job. breaks over! ps. i think i may have picked the same as you did Captain Cock??!!? |
